280 g Oumph! The Chunk
Approx. 15 dried apricots
1 yellow onion
1 large clove of garlic
2 tsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. of sherry vinegar (or other vinegar)
2 tbsp. white wine
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. raw sugar
1 tbsp. apricot marmalade
2 dl water
Frying oil
Salt and pepper


Chop the onion and garlic. Fry them together with the curry powder until they become soft. Add everything except for Oumph! and apricots. Let it boil. Add Oumph! directly from the fridge and let simmer for approx. 5 minutes or until the chunks have defrosted. Pour over into a dish together with the apricots, let it cool off in the fridge, preferably overnight.

Put them on soaked spits and combine with a nice vegetable. Brush the spits and the grate with oil and grill and roast at high heat. The meal works well together with rice, couscous salad, grilled Brussels sprouts and grilled apricots!

Grilled Brussels sprouts:

Mix 2 tbsp. salt with 0.5 l of water. Add RAW Brussels sprouts. Leave in the fridge for one day. Pour out the water and mix with some oil. Grill at high heat until the outer leaves become black, then use indirect heat for 10-15 minutes.
