200 g Oumph! The Chunk

2 tbsp. mango chutney

3 tsp. lime juice

1 put sambal oelek

1 tsp. Japanese soy sauce

1 tsp. sesame oil

1 tsp. freshly ground ginger

2 tsp. corn starch

2 tsp. crème fraiche

Approx. 1 ml salt

White bread, either long open sandwich or sandwich cake

Oil for frying

Rice paper

Black sesame seeds

Defrost and fry Oumph! The Chunk so it gets a nice surface all around. Chop or pulse in a mini blender together with the mango chutney. Mix with the lime, soy, sesame oil, ginger, crème fraiche and corn starch in the frying pan. Boil so that the mixture thickens. Cool in the refrigerator. Heat the oil to 180° C, break the rice paper into pieces and fry. They’re ready after puffing up. Add paper towels to let them drain, salt a little and sprinkle with sesame seeds. When the mix is cold, shape it into fine tarts and put on them white bread, decorate with rice paper and cress!


Serve as part of a fancy buffet at New Years!
